筹备葬礼 剧情简介
故事发生在美国田纳西州一个偏僻宁静的小镇。然而，朴实无华的小镇居民却时常被人所提及的菲利克斯·布什（罗伯特·杜瓦尔饰）这个名字所惊吓到。因为这个常常循匿在小镇旁密林深处的家伙有着相当可怕的传奇故事，他做出的坏事甚至超出了常人的想象。但突然有一天，一脸胡须的菲利克斯·布什手持他那邪恶的长枪和一大袋现金闯入了镇里，声称要为自己举办一场豪华的“活人葬礼”。此话一出，轰动全镇。
金钱的美味儿促使小镇中殡仪馆老板弗兰克·奎恩（比尔·莫瑞饰）不顾一切地与菲利克斯做起了交易。与此同时，他还拉上了自己的年轻学徒巴蒂·罗宾逊（卢卡斯·布莱克饰）一同“下水”。还有小镇里的“神秘”寡妇马蒂·罗丹（西西·斯派塞克饰）也被卷入其中。于是，在经过了勾心斗角、阴奉阳伪以及荒唐无度的“精心”准备后，一场空前浩大的“活人葬礼”开始了……鲁格/文
